CHILDREN CHANGE WORKSHOP
Below, Lisa explains that Bullies can CHANGE too!
EDUCATION & PREVENTION:
Motivational Speaker, Lisa Freeman, CEO of Abuse Bites, educates children, teens, educators, and entire families about bullying and cyber bullying (age appropriate): what is bullying, how to stop bullying in school, how to prevent bullying, what safety measures to take to protect you and your school/family, how to report abuse/bullying, how to break the bullying/abuse cycle, signs and symptoms of abuse/bullying, and healing for victims/targets, bystanders, and those with bullying behaviors. Two amazing pet therapy dogs also interact with the group to share their stories as well as a hilarious trick performance that reinforces safety and prevention methods.
FUN GROUP INTERACTION:
TEEN CHANGE WORKSHOP
Below Lisa interacts with kids through a hilarious game to show them the dangers of "peer pressure" and going along with the crowd.
Abuse Bites offers fun, upbeat presentations that teach kids and teens, through interactive games and some Q & A time, how to say no to peer pressure, the dangers of self abuse (alcohol, drugs, cutting, bad relationships, etc), dating violence warning signs, suicide awareness & prevention, learning how to accept others who may be different, working together, standing together, forgiving and loving those with bullying behaviors, and bringing unity and healing to the entire school/community.
HEALING FOR ALL:
Abuse Bites offers healing by bringing their personal stories of courage, hope, and survival. "We were all bullies and bullied in some form," says CEO Lisa Freeman, "but we've healed, come out on the other side, and now we want to help others find that same healing."
